SNEAK
PEAK AT THE MUSIC DEPARTMENT WISH LIST
(Vicki
Feltman)
Every year, at the annual
Music Booster Marching Band Pot Luck, we post a list of items to help the Music
Department run like a sonata instead of a jitterbug. Look for our very special Music
Department Wish List, where we ask for supplies to keep students and teachers
happy. You would not
believe how many boxes of Kleenex we go thru in a week. And reams of paper, ink for the music
dept. printer, blue painters tape, batteries, the basic supplies of school
life. Every little bit is
much appreciated.
In case you’d like to get
a head-start, we can always use the following items starting the first day of
school. You can drop them
off in the Band office during hours of operation (see availability below).
Partial Wish List –
Kleenex (we were going thru 2 or 3
boxes a day at the end of the year due to
allergies!)
reams of white copy paper (20 lb)
reams of pastel colored copy paper (20
lb)
ink cartridges (Brother ink cartridge
id lc79 or lc75 in black, magenta, yellow,
or cyan)
scotch tape refill rolls (3/4 inch
wide)
ATTENTION STUDENTS – SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING

clearly labeled with your name.

3. Lunches: Bring lunch money or a sack lunch on Friday and
Saturday. You will have lunch on your own after dismissal at 1:00 pm on

BAND CAMP
AND TEAM BUILDING DAY FAQ
(Vicki
Feltman)
Q:
Do we sleep over during Band Camp this year?
A:
No sleepover this year. Everyone
goes home to their own beds every night of band camp. Everyone is expected to show up on
time the each morning, at 9 a.m.
Q:
Do we have to participate in the Team Building Day?
A:
It’s rather difficult to build a team if the whole team doesn’t show
up. We expect
everyone to show up at 8:45 am Thursday morning, unless you notified Mr. Burn
or Vicki Feltman in advance.
Q:
I didn’t know about Team Building Day or Band Camp. Nobody told me and I didn’t read my
emails.
A:
Not an excuse. You
are responsible for paying attention when Mr. Burn and section leaders make
announcements. You
are responsible for checking your emails at least once a week on Wednesdays to
find out the current information on music department activities and
events. You are in
High School!
INSTRUMENT
LOCKER CHECK OUT FORMS DUE AUGUST 12TH
(Vicki
Feltman)
Remember to turn in your
instrument locker check out forms by Monday August 12th.
New marchers: once you
check out a locker, that locker will be yours to use until you graduate from
the music program.
Returning marchers will
use the same lockers as they had last year, with the same locker combination. If you wish to
select a different locker, follow the instructions below.
A YELLOW instrument
locker check out form will be taped to every locker available for check
out. Select your locker,
take the form home to get it signed by your parents, and leave the completed
form in the box marked ‘Mrs. Feltman’s Mail Box’ located in the band
office. The yellow
instrument locker check out forms must be returned to me no later than 3:30 pm Monday,
August 12th. I will
return the locker to the available pool on August 13th if I don’t receive your
signed paperwork. No
exceptions.
Contact Vicki Feltman at Vicki.feltman@gmail.com if there are no more yellow forms
taped to lockers or if you have any questions.
