WINTER GROUPS ROCK DAYTON! (Vicki Feltman)
Just before Spring Break the Homestead Winter Guard traveled to
Dayton, Ohio to compete in the Winter Guard International World Championships.
They competed against over 120 groups in the Scholastic A division and finished
5th in the country after finals! Congratulations Winter Guard!

PERCUSSION SPRING WORKSHOPS (Vicki Feltman)
All workshops will be 3:45pm-5:45pm in the Homestead Band Room. Workshops are optional, but highly recommended for incoming freshmen as well as current students interested in auditioning for snare, quad or bass drum.
Cost for each workshop is $5/student per week.

Come on out for an opportunity to perform that solo or ensemble piece that you've been working on or for a chance to relive some good old pep band tunes. Snacks will be provided. See the Blue Devils, Santa Clara Vanguard and Cadets, The Cadets, Carolina Crown, Phantom Regiment, Blue Knights, Mandarins, Pacific Crest, Revolution, and Renegades! Your top drum corps just down the road! And, to top it off, access to group tickets! Individual ticket prices range from $15 to $75. We can get $11 group tickets if we get at least 20 people. If interested, check http://www.homestead-music.org/forms for the DCI Group Ticket Order Form. Please complete the form, staple a check to it, and leave it in Mrs. Feltman’s mail box in Mr. Burn’s office. Due date for all group ticket orders is Friday, May 17th. NEW BAND ROOM AVAILABILITY (Vicki Feltman)
New band room availability. Monday thru Thursday after school until 6 pm. If a student does not follow the rules during the day, they will not be allowed access after school for the day. The band room will be closed after school on Fridays.
