Jazz Ensemble was awarded the highest possible rating, a COMMAND PERFORMANCE, at the Santa Cruz Jazz Festival Friday, March 15th!
WINTER PERCUSSION!
Winter Percussion took first place in competition Saturday, March 16th!
Winter Percussion competes at San Bernardino on Saturday, March 23rd.
WINTER GUARD!
Winter Guard took third Regional competition Saturday, March 16th!
Winter Guard competes at Granada High in Modesto on Saturday, March 23rd.

DETAILS ON UPCOMING PERFORMANCES
Chamber Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra will perform at the CMEA Orchestra Festival at Saratoga High School Friday, March 22nd. Chamber Orchestra will be on stage at 2:55 pm. Symphony Orchestra performs at 6:55 pm. These performances are not to be missed!! And they are FREE!
HHS WINTER GUARD / WINTER PERCUSSION HOME SHOW - TUESDAY, MARCH 26TH AT 7:00 PM IN THE HOMESTEAD BIG GYM (Connie Viveros)
Come see the extremely talented HHS Winter Guard and Winter Percussion perform their award-winning shows! Also performing will be guest percussion and guard groups from a few surrounding schools! It's all happening in the Homestead Gym, Tuesday night, March 26th at 7 PM! $5.00 for General Admission, $1 for Students with ID. Kids under 5 are FREE! It's a great way to come out and support our music department!

IMPORTANT NOTICE – MORE INFORMATION ABOUT APRIL 12th (Vicki Feltman)
THE CMEA BAND FESTIVAL will take place on Friday, April 12th, at Gunn High School. We have a preliminary schedule and will announce the detailed schedule next week. Briefly, Wind Ensemble needs to arrive at Gunn High School at 4 pm; Symphonic Band arrives at 6:30 pm; Concert Band arrives at 7 pm.
This happens to be the Friday before Spring Break. All students in Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Ensemble are required to perform that day. This is a mandatory performance.

BAND ROOM AVAILABILITY (Vicki Feltman)
The band room will be open after school until 6 pm on Wednesday and Thursday this week. The band room will be closed at 3:30 pm on Friday, March 22nd, due to the CMEA Orchestra Festival.
