I NEED TO KNOW…..

1)    All marching band and color guard are expected to participate at each competition.  Contact Vicki Feltman at Vicki.feltman@gmail.com if you will NOT be attending on Saturday.

2)    Please contact Vicki Feltman at Vicki.feltman@gmail.com if your student will NOT be on the bus going to the competition on Saturday, or if your student will NOT be coming back on the bus after competition.  We don’t want to waste time waiting for someone who won’t show up at bus departure.

3)    If you are picking up your student after competition, we want to make eye contact with both parent and student before you leave, so that we make sure everyone has hooked up; we would hate to have a student THINK their parent was picking them up, only to have them end up standing in an empty parking lot long after everyone else has left.

Due to the many bands in attendance and to provide space for band preparation, there is no general spectator parking on campus. We do have limited handicapped parking on campus. There is also street parking within walking distance to the school. However we ask all spectators who use street parking be mindful of “permit parking only” areas. Our local police department will enforce this limitation. Please let your parents and boosters know that absolutely no additional vehicles will be allowed to park on campus with your buses including extra-chase food vehicles. Drops off for food can be accommodated but your vehicles will be escorted in and out to a drop off zone only. We appreciate the cooperation with our volunteers.

SPECTATOR ENTRANCE TO THE STADIUM:

The Spectator entrance is at the corner of H Street and Alvarado-Niles Road.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS FOR SPECTATORS:

From Northbound 880:

Take Decoto Rd. exit.

Turn Left onto AlvaradoNiles Rd.

PIT PUSHERS FOR SATURDAY SCHEDULE – LOGAN FIELD SHOW COMPETITION

(Vicki Feltman)

Please contact Vicki Feltman at Vicki.feltman@gmail.com if you plan on attending the Logan competition and helping to get pit equipment on and off the field.  Pit boss John Baltazar can use all the help he can get!  We need to push equipment from the parking lot across H Street to the stadium.   Multiple trips are not an option.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS – BAND YEARBOOK PIC MONDAY, NOVEMBER 19th

(Vicki Feltman)

Band and Guard students will take their official yearbook group photo on Monday, November 19th Students arrive at 8 am, get into uniform, and head to the stadium for pictures.  Picture order forms can be found on the table near the whiteboard.  Parents: orders must be handed in at the time pictures are taken, so make sure you have your student bring home an order form BEFORE the 19th, or make sure you come pick up an order form before the 19th.   Also, please discuss with your student if you want them to take individual and/or buddy pictures.   There were a few last year who didn’t know you paid for those extras, and some who absolutely refused to take them even though you paid for it.  Don’t waste the money or our time if they don’t care to do it.

I have put a copy of the order envelope in our booster website (www.hhs.fuhsd.org/forms .... look for yearbook photo order form) so you know the pricing.  You can send a check, made payable to “Lifetouch Sports” for the total amount of photo packages ordered, and trust your student to complete the order envelope correctly if you don’t get an envelope before picture day.

Please contact me at Vicki.feltman@gmail.com if you have any questions.

LOST MONEY?

(DeeDee Wong)

If you dropped your cash at the Home Show Food Truck feed, please contact DeeDee Wong at mikedeedee@comcast.net.  A description of the amount, location and specifics will be required.  If the owner is not found by the end of this week, the money will be donated to HHSMB.

LOST AND FOUND HAS BEEN FOUND

(Vicki Feltman)

For those of you looking for the lost and found in the instrument locker room, it turned out the custodian moved it out because it was too smelly and foul to leave in the room when a huge meeting was going on.

I will bring everything out (wearing gloves) to the grass under the band tree on Saturday.  Anything left there at noon time will be given to Good Will.

FRESNO ROOM ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE POSTED SATURDAY MORNING

(Vicki Feltman)

We will not distribute room keys unless all of you and all of your roommates come as a group to pick up keys after we arrive at the Radisson in Fresno.  It would be to your advantage to look up everyone in your room to make sure you all hook up when we arrive.
